Deadly Head-On Collision on Georgetown Road in Greenwood
El Dorado County, California: One person died in a head-on collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Greenwood, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred around 1:42 p.m. on Georgetown Road near Circle Drive.
A utility truck and a gold SUV collided head-on under unclear circumstances, blocking both traffic lanes.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
One person died in the crash.
