Deadly Interstate 5 Crash in Portland
Portland, Oregon: One person died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon on Interstate 5 in Portland.
The Portland Police Bureau said the wreck occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes at North Failing Street.
Responding officers found multiple vehicles involved in the accident.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators closed I-5 at North Killingsworth Street for several hours following the accident.
