Deadly Motorcycle Crash on I-8 in Imperial County
Imperial County, California: The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday night on Interstate 8 near El Centro.
The wreck occurred around 11:49 p.m. near the Forrester Road off-ramp.
A motorcycle collided with a car for an unknown reason.
The motorcyclist was blocking the No. 2 lane after the crash. The motorcycle caught fire on the right-hand shoulder.
CHP said one person died at the scene, prompting a coroner representative to respond.
An investigation is ongoing.
