La Puente, California (May 9, 2023) – A woman was killed after a pedestrian accident on Monday afternoon in La Puente, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The accident occurred on Fairgrove Avenue and Hacienda Boulevard at about 2:20 p.m. on May 8.
Authorities confirmed that a school bus struck a woman for unknown reasons.
Responding fire officials confirmed the woman dead at the crash site.
It was not immediately known if any students were on board at the time of the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
