Deadly Semi-Truck Collision on I-405 near the Carson Scales
Carson, California: One person died in a traffic collision that left a car wedged underneath a big rig Friday night on Interstate 405 at the Carson Scales, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck happened around 11:25 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Del Amo Boulevard.
A sedan collided with a big rig and got wedged underneath the semi-truck.
Multiple traffic lanes were shut down to allow firefighters to pull the sedan from underneath the semi.
One person was killed in the accident.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
