Donna Munoz Dies in Collision on Mission Bay Drive in Mission Beach
San Diego, California – Donna Munoz, a 39-year-old resident of Los Angeles, has been identified as the passenger who died after a car she was riding collided with a motorcycle on Thursday morning in Mission Beach.
The double-fatal crash happened at around 9 a.m. on Mission Bay Drive near Dana Landing, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Prius’ driver had just started turning right onto Dana Landing when it was struck by a motorcycle traveling west on Mission Bay Drive.
The 34-year-old male rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Munoz was riding in the Prius and was also pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Prius and two juvenile passengers were unhurt.
