Driver Killed in Fresno Head-On Collision Identified
Fresno, California: 20-year-old Pregat Singh, of Fresno, died in a head-on collision that happened early Wednesday morning west of Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 4 a.m. on Shaw Avenue near Chateau Fresno.
Investigators said Singh was driving a passenger car westbound on Shaw when he veered into the eastbound side and collided head-on with a pickup truck.
Singh died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The pickup truck driver was hospitalized with unspecified injuries but was expected to survive.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
