Driver Killed in Palm Desert Crash at Country Club Drive and Barrington Drive
Palm Desert, California – A driver died in a rear-end collision on Saturday evening in Palm Desert.
According to the Riverside County’s Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 5:44 p.m. at Country Club Drive and Barrington Drive.
The driver of a Chrysler 300 was stopped in the eastbound lane of Country Club Drive when he was rear-ended by a Toyota Highlander.
The driver of the Toyota was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The name of the deceased driver will be released after the notification of the next of kin, according to the Riverside County’s coroner’s office.
The driver of the Chrysler and a passenger were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
