Driver Killed in Tuesday Night San Jose Accident
San Jose, California: A driver died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night at an intersection in San Jose.
San Jose police said the wreck took place at Blossom Hill Road and Winfield Boulevard.
Two vehicles, including one driven by a woman, were involved in the accident.
The female driver suffered major injuries. She died at a hospital, where she was taken for treatment.
The intersection remained blocked as authorities investigated.

The man was crossing the street in the area when he was struck by a car.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
