Fresno, California (April 26, 2023) – 30-year-old Brian Britten has been identified as one woman killed after a car crashed into a tent on Monday morning in Fresno.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on April 24 on Ashlan Avenue near Highway 41.
Police confirmed a driver slammed into a fence, drove through and crashed into a tent.
Two women in the tent suffered critical injuries and were hospitalized.
One of the women, Britten, was declared dead at the hospital, while the other was listed in critical condition.
Police arrested the involved driver on suspicion of DUI.
The incident remains under investigation.
