Dump Truck Crash at Santa Anita and Huntington in Arcadia
Arcadia, California: Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision involving a dump truck that also left dirt and concrete scattered in traffic lanes Wednesday morning at an intersection in Arcadia.
The pileup was reported at about 9 a.m. at Santa Anita Avenue and E. Huntington Drive.
Authorities said a dump truck ferrying dirt and concrete collided with two other vehicles at the intersection.
The truck hit a fire hydrant and overturned, spilling dirt and concrete pieces all over the road.
Emergency personnel responded and helped the truck driver to get out.
Authorities said the crash resulted in minor to moderate injuries to an unspecified number of parties.
The cause of the collision was not immediately established.
