Earl Venosdel Fatally Struck by Motorcycle on Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard

Huntington Beach, California – The Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office has identified 67-year-old Earl Venosdel as the pedestrian killed in a deadly crash earlier this month.

The deadly accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. October 5, on Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard.

Police confirmed Venosdel was crossing the highway in a crosswalk when a southbound motorcycle hit her.

The impact of the collision threw rider out of the bike. The motorcycle then slammed into a Toyota Rav4.

Venosdel was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on Tuesday, October 15.

The rider, a 42-year-old man from Buena Park was hospitalized with critical injuries.

The Rav4 driver, a 34-year-old Huntington Beach woman was not injured. She stayed at the crash site following the collision.

An investigation is ongoing.
