Two People Hospitalized After San Mateo Bridge Crash Monday Afternoon
Eastbound Lanes on San Mateo Bridge Closed After Injury Crash
San Mateo, California: Two people were injured, and the eastbound lanes on the San Mateo Bridge were closed after a multi-vehicle collision Monday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash took place around 4 p.m. in the eastbound side near the high rise section of the bridge.
Three vehicles with one occupant each were involved in the accident.
One driver suffered major injuries, and another complained of pain. Both patients were hospitalized.
All three eastbound lanes were shut down following the collision. The center lane reopened at 4:54 p.m., but the right and left lanes remained closed.
