Eden Palmer Killed in Woodside Car Accident on 280 Freeway

Woodside, California (April 26, 2023) – Authorities have identified Eden Palmer, 54, of San Francisco as the man killed in a wrong-way collision on Saturday afternoon in Woodside.

The fatal crash occurred at about 2:38 a.m. on April 23 on the southbound 280 Freeway near Woodside Road.

Police said a white Ford sedan was heading north in the southbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a black BMW SUV.

Palmer suffered fatal injuries due to the collision. Palmer’s son, 14 years sustained injuries and was hospitalized.

The wrong-way driver, 24-year-old Constellatia A. Martin of Campbell, sustained severe injuries and was transported to Stanford Medical Center. 

Police later arrested Martin.

Further details regarding the crash were not released.

The incident remains under investigation.
