Edna Villa Killed in Phoenix Car Accident near 79th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road
Phoenix, Arizona (September 15, 2023) – The Phoenix Fire Department officials are investigating a fatal collision that killed Edna Villa, 27, on Thursday morning in Phoenix, Arizona.
The fatal accident occurred on September 14, a while after 8:00 a.m., near the 79th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road intersection.
Police confirmed two vehicles were involved. One of the vehicles, in which Villa was a passenger, turned left in front of the other, causing the fatal collision.
The two motorists, a man and a woman, and Villa were rushed to the hospital, where Villa died while receiving treatment.
The two other patients are expected to recover.
Authorities did not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
