Electric Bike Rider Dies after Colliding with Tesla in Fremont
Fremont, California: An electric bicycle rider died Tuesday night after colliding with a Tesla near an intersection in Fremont’s Centerville District.
Fremont police said the collision occurred at around 9:50 p.m. on Peralta Boulevard at Camden Street.
The deceased was riding an electric bicycle that collided with a Tesla under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel pronounced the rider dead at the scene. The victim was not immediately identified.
Police closed the intersection for hours overnight until at about 3:30 a.m. as they investigated.
