Fresno, California – 65-year-old Elida Fernandez has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office as the woman who died in a car crash on Tuesday.
The fatal collision happened on Dickenson Avenue near Barstow Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Fernandez was driving a car on Dickenson Avenue when he collided with a car traveling on Barstow.
The crash caused one of the cars to flip upside-down.
Fernandez died at the accident scene.
The 45-year-old male driver of the second car was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
