Elizabeth Puentes Killed in Hemet Pedestrian Accident on San Jacinto Avenue near Shaver Street
Hemet, California – Elizabeth Puentes, 22, has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a car in San Jacinto.
The fatal collision happened around 8 p.m. on South San Jacinto Avenue near Shaver Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
County fire paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the woman to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley where she died while receiving treatment.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
