L.A. County Sergeant and Wife Killed in Violent Crash at Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street
Emilio Guerrero and Annabel Guerrero Killed in Downey Crash at Paramount and Gardendale
Downey, California – A Los Angeles County Bureau of Investigation sergeant and his wife were killed in a car accident that happened on Sunday afternoon in Downey.
The double-fatal crash happened at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street at around 2 p.m.
Downey police say a 60-year-old man from South Gate was driving a vehicle when he collided with 52-year-old Emilio Guerrero’s car at the intersection.
Guerrero and his wife, 47-year-old Annabel Guerrero, were killed in the accident.
Annabel was a local teacher who previously worked for the Downey Unified School District.
A third person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The Downey Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
