Eric Galvanmolina ID’d as Victim of Fatal Merced County Crash
Merced County, California: 31-year-old Eric De Jesus Galvanmolina died in a rollover collision that happened Thursday morning in Merced County, the Merced County Sherif Coroner said.
The collision was reported near Turlock and Oakdale roads.
Investigators said Galvanmolina was driving a 1999 Honda Accord south on Oakdale Road at about 50-60 mph when his car was hit on the driver’s side by the front of a 2013 Acura heading west on Turlock.
The Honda overturned onto its roof.
Galvanmolina died at the crash scene.
Authorities are investigating whether the Acura driver, a 46-year-old Ballico woman, stopped at a posted stop sign before the accident.
