Ernestine Jones Killed in Moreno Valley Pedestrian Accident on 60 Freeway
Moreno Valley, California – 22-year-old Ernestine Jones has been identified as the woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Thursday morning in Moreno Valley.
The fatal collision happened on the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway just east of Indian Avenue at around 3 a.m.
Jones reportedly walked into a traffic lane for unknown reasons and was struck by a Toyota Corolla.
The Riverside County Fire Department crew responded to the crash and pronounced Jones dead at the scene.
The driver of the Corolla stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information regarding the accident was provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
