Lake County, California – Authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car crash on Monday near Upper Lake.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 20 near Witter Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pickup truck reportedly collided head-on with another car in unclear circumstances.
Evaristo Hernandez Hernandez, 43, of Ukiah, was a passenger in the pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was also killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
