Evonnie Caceres Dies After Burbank Car Accident at Victory and Magnolia Boulevards

Los Angeles, California (September 6, 2023) – Evonnie Nicole Caceres, 24, has been identified as the woman killed in a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in Burbank, Los Angeles, according to the Burbank Police Department.

The accident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. on September 3 at the Victory and Magnolia Boulevards intersection.

Authorities said a white Dodge Challenger tried to speed through the junction while a black Nissan SUV turned left. The two vehicles ultimately collided. The Challenger then hit a curb before slamming into a traffic signal pole.

Caceres, a Dodge passenger, was rushed to Holy Cross Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Dodge driver suffered moderate injuries and was hospitalized.

The Nissan motorist was not injured in the accident.

Crash debris struck a pedestrian standing on the street corner. The patient sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
