Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 1 in Mendocino County
Mendocino County, California: At least one person died in a head-on collision that happened Thursday night in Mendocino County, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said the crash occurred on Highway 1 midway on the Caspar Creek Bridge.
A van and a sedan were involved in the collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead.
It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
Both vehicles were towed away for evidence.
