Fatal Motorcycle Crash on State Route 78 in Ramona
Ramona, California – A 36-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Ramona last week Friday.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident was reported around 4:58 p.m. on State Route near Old Julian Highway.
A Ramona man was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound when he crossed the double yellow lines into the opposite lane and collided with a Ford F-250.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle.
CHP says the rider was killed in the crash.
His name was not disclosed.
The 52-year-old Ramona woman driving the pickup truck was not injured.
Impairment was not a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
