Chula Vista, California (April 27, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a rider was killed following a traffic collision on Wednesday morning in Chula Vista.
The deadly collision occurred at about 6:00 a.m. on April 26 on Interstate 805 Freeway near Telegraph Canyon Road.
Police, a 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle crashed into the back of a white tow truck stopped in the median.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
