Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 4 in Brentwood
Brentwood, California – One person died after being struck by a vehicle in Brentwood on Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident was reported around 5:50 a.m. on Highway 4 near Walnut Boulevard.
A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a black Chevrolet Avalanche that was traveling westbound on Highway 4.
The pedestrian was killed in the crash.
The crash led to the closure of both directions of the highway between Walnut Boulevard and Vasco Road.
More details about the accident were not released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
