Olivehurst, California: One person was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened early Thursday morning in Olivehurst, the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 12:40 a.m., authorities received reports of a pedestrian accident on northbound Olivehurst Avenue, just south of 14th Street.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle under unknown reasons.
The pedestrian died in the crash.
The driver of the car was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia
An investigation is ongoing.
