Fernando Gamiz Jr. Killed in Hesperia Crash on Escondido Avenue
Hesperia, California – Fernando Gamiz Jr. 15, has been identified as the boy who died in a crash involving an off-road vehicle on Friday night in Hesperia.
The accident happened at around 7:54 p.m. on Escondido Avenue near Ranchero Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dirt bike and a quad were involved in the collision. The events preceding the collision were not immediately established.
San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found the teen in critical condition.
The teen was transported to Desert Valley Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
