Fiery Crash at Phoenix Intersection Kills 1, Sends 2 to Hospital
Phoenix, Arizona: One person died, and two others were hospitalized after a fiery collision that happened Saturday afternoon in Phoenix.
Police said two cars collided around 3 p.m. near 40th Street and Baseline Road.
One car caught fire after the crash, killing an occupant inside. Firefighters responded and doused the flames then retrieved the body.
Two occupants of the other vehicle, a boy and a woman, were hospitalized in stable condition.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known but an investigation is ongoing.
