Fresno, California – A man died after being struck by a car in Northeast Fresno on Friday night.
The accident happened at around 10 p.m. on Herndon and Blackstone avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
59-year-old Fred Leon Black Jr. was crossing the street when he was struck by a car.
The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
