Gabriel Coury Identified as Victim of Suspected DUI Crash in Kent
Kent, Washington: The 12-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a suspected DUI driver Tuesday evening in Kent has been identified as Gabriel Coury.
The boy was involved in the crash at around 7 p.m. at 132nd Avenue Southeast and Southeast 230th Street.
According to the Kent Police Department, 911 calls came in about a traffic collision involving a child, with CPR in progress.
Police officers arrived at the scene within two minutes and took over life-saving efforts until medical personnel arrived minutes later.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics.
The 19-year-old Kent man driving the car was located near the scene shortly after the accident. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
