Gabriela Garza Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash in Wasco
Bakersfield, California: 21-year-old Gabriela Garza of Wasco was arrested after a hit-and-run bicycle accident that left a woman dead Sunday evening in Wasco.
The collision occurred about 6 p.m. near Poso Drive and Palm Avenue.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Garza was arrested after authorities identified her as the suspect.
A woman riding a bicycle was hit by Garza’s car, leaving her with serious injuries. Medical intervention failed and the cyclist was pronounced dead.
