Girl Killed in Bakersfield DUI Accident at South Union and Hosking Avenues Identified
Bakersfield, California: 12-year-old Anabel Marie Ramirez died in a DUI accident that happened Friday evening at an intersection in Bakersfield, the Kern County Coroner’s Office said.
The incident occurred around 7:24 p.m. near South Union and Hosking avenues.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Ramirez was a passenger in one of the cars. She was transported to Kern Medical for treatment but later died.
The Bakersfield Police Department arrested one of the drivers on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, and gross vehicular manslaughter.
