Girl Struck, Killed by Car near Oracle Park in San Francisco
San Francisco, California – A 4-year-old girl died after being struck by a car alongside her parents in the Oracle Park area of San Francisco on Tuesday evening.
The fatal collision happened around 5:15 p.m. on 4th Street near King Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle is reported to have struck the pedestrians near the Caltrain station in unclear circumstances.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The juvenile’s parents were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment in critical condition.
The car crashed into a pole after the accident. The driver was unhurt and stayed at the scene to speak to the police.
