Gregory McDonald Killed in Rialto Crash on Riverside Avenue
Rialto, California – One person was killed in a suspected DUI car crash early Saturday morning in Rialto.
The fatal collision happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 4000 block of South Riverside Avenue, according to the Rialto Police Department.
27-year-old Marcus Fiorillo, of Banning, was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck north on Riverside Avenue when he crashed into a guardrail and swerved into oncoming traffic.
The pickup truck then collided head-on with a Toyota Echo driven by Gregory McDonald, 57, of Moreno Valley.
McDonald was found unresponsive inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Fiorillo was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
