Hasnain Kadri Hospitalized After Spokane Accident on Highway 2 near Spokane International Airport

Spokane, Washington State (May 8, 2023) – According to the Washington State Patrol, Hasnain Kadri, 31, from Edmonds, was hurt following a rear-end collision on Sunday morning in Spokane.

The accident occurred on Highway 2 near Spokane International Airport at about 8:40 a.m. on May 7.

Police said Kadri was heading eastbound in a Kia SUV at a high rate of speed when he changed lanes and rear-ended a Subaru. The SUV rolled into a ditch before halting against a tree while the Subaru left the roadway and hit a fence.

The two motorists were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Kadri sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

55-year-old Terina McDonald of Wenatchee was unharmed due to the collision.

Police did not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the accident.

The incident remains under investigation.
