Head-On Crash in Bakersfield Leaves 1 Severely Injured
Bakersfield, California: One person was hospitalized with severe injuries after a Bakersfield head-on crash that happened Sunday night in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a brown Chevrolet Suburban and a white Chevrolet Cobalt were involved in the accident at around 11:30 p.m. near Virginia Avenue and Bates Avenue.
Firefighters responding to the scene found one person unconscious but breathing.
The driver of the Cobalt was able to exit the vehicle after the collision.
The report said one person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Both vehicles acquired major front-end damage.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
