Hopland Car Accident Results in Major Injuries
Hopland, California: At least one person sustained major injuries when two cars collided head-on on Highway 101 near Saracina Vineyards in Hopland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, not far from Crawford Ranch Road.
The report said for an unknown reason, a car crossed the double yellow lines and collided head-on with another vehicle.
One of the cars went off the roadway after the impact.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped at least one person who suffered major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
