Israel Martinez Killed in Tucson Motorcycle Accident at Country Club Rd
Tucson, Arizona (May 12, 2023) – According to the Tuscon Police Department, Israel Antonio Martinez, 20, has died days after being involved in a motorcycle accident earlier this month in Tuscon.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, May 2, at Country Club Road and Broadway Boulevard.
Police said Martinez was heading southbound on Country Club in a motorcycle when he crashed into a Toyota minivan. The Toyota, operated by a 70-year-old man, was heading left from northbound Country Club.
Martinez sustained severe injuries and was transported to Banner University Medical Center, where he died while undergoing treatment on May 10.
The minivan driver remained at the crash site and was cooperative.
