James Ruff Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at Truxtun Avenue and Baker Street
Bakersfield, California – 63-year-old James Tilton Ruff has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as the man who died after being hit by a train earlier this month in Bakersfield.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened around 7:12 a.m. on May 2, in the area of East Truxtun Avenue and Baker Street.
Ruff was struck by a train in unclear in circumstances.
Ruff was transported to Kern Medical where he later died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
