Clovis, California – 81-year-old James Vaughn has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Clovis.
The fatal collision happened at the intersection 2:14 p.m. at the intersection of Herndon and Helm Avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a car on the roadway when he veered across the center median into the opposite lanes and collided with two oncoming cars.
Vaughn was killed in the accident, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
Another driver was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
