Jane Stroud Dies After San Jose Pedestrian Accident on 11th and E Santa Clara Streets
San Jose, California (April 29, 2023) – 71-year-old Jane Rose Stroud has been identified as the woman who died weeks after being involved in a pedestrian accident in San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 11:50 a.m. on April 9, near 11th and E Santa Clara streets.
Police said Stroud was walking in a crosswalk attempting to cross East Santa Clara Street when she was hit by a 2017 Toyota Camry that was turning onto East Santa Clara Street from north 11th Street.
Stroud was transported to a local hospital and declared dead on Monday, April 24.
No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
An investigation is underway.
