Murrieta, California – Jasmine Gomez, 42, of Hemet, was killed in a collision that happened in Murrieta on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly before noon on southbound I-215, north of Linnel Lane.
Gomez was driving a sedan when he crashed into a pickup truck with a trailer.
The impact of the collision caused the sedan to veer out of control and overturn in the fast lane.
Gomez was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
