Jay Britton Killed in Moreno Valley Crash at Ironwood Avenue and Helga Lane
Moreno Valley, California – 60-year-old Jay Britton was killed in a collision that occurred at an intersection in Moreno Valley on Wednesday evening.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal collision happened around 9 p.m. at Ironwood Avenue and Helga Lane.
The Moreno Valley man was driving a car on Ironwood when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Britton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Riverside County Fire Department paramedics.
Two occupants of the second car were injured in the accident and were transported to Riverside University Medical Center.
