Jerry Nation Killed in Palmdale Crash on 14 Freeway
Palmdale, California – 60-year-old Jerry Nation has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash that happened last month in Palmdale.
The accident happened on 14 Freeway near Escondido Canyon Road at around 8:40 p.m., on June 19, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 36-year-old Lancaster man was driving a 2022 Honda in the center median when he crashed into a 2006 Honda Accord that was stopped in the center median.
Nation was in the rear passenger seat of the disabled car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 2022 Honda driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
