San Mateo County, California – 28-year-old Joaquin Dominik Jimenez Alvarado, the son of Mayor Joaquin Jimenez, has been identified as the man who died in a motorcycle accident that happened in San Mateo County on Saturday.
The accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. on Highway 1 at Mirada Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jimenez Alvarado was riding his motorcycle when he crashed into a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
