Redwood City, California – A man died after being hit by a car at an intersection in Redwood City on Sunday evening.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 6 p.m. at El Camino Real and Broadway, according to the Redwood City Police Department.
Joe Ragsdale, 69, a Redwood City resident, was traveling on the highway and was struck by a car.
The man was transported to Stanford Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the San Mateo Coroner’s Office.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
