John Malley and Jessica Hay Killed in Sacramento Crash on Highway 160
Sacramento, California – Two people who died in a head-on collision in Sacramento on Saturday morning have been identified as John Patrick Malley, 26, of Antioch and Jessica Lee Hay, 29, of Rio Vista.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on Highway 160 at Sherman Island Road.
Malley was driving a gray 2001 Nissan SUV southbound when he crossed into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a silver 2004 Lexus SUV.
Hay was in the front passenger seat of the Lexus and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Malley was also killed in the crash.
The 33-year-old male driver of the Lexus and his three juvenile passengers were taken to hospital with severe injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
