Stockton, California – The California Highway Patrol has identified John Skipper, 56, of San Leandro, as the man killed in a motorcycle collision on Saturday night in Stockton.
The deadly crash occurred at about 8:34 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 near Wilson Way.
Police said Skipper was riding a motorcycle on the highway and was attempting to change lanes when he slammed into the rear of a vehicle.
Skipper suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the accident location.
